No pass no park

The next thing I need to tell you about is a little card that you can put on someones windshield or their car door. It's a little card that tells them exactly what you think of the way they park. You see idiots like to park where they aren't supposed to. That's in the disabled parking spots or even in the hash marks.

Little secret people. HASHMARKS are for wheelchair loading and unloading NOT your shopping carts, NOT your mopeds, NOT your cars. They are there for a reason and that is so someone who is disabled and needs a wheelchair can get in and out of their car.

The little parking spots at the front of stores that have the little blue square and the man in a wheelchair painted on the ground. That is not idiot parking. That is not/ I JUST HAD TO GO IN AND GET BREAD parking. This is parking for the disabled.

To have the right to park there you need to have a prescription from your doctor, but not just that. You also have to mail in an application and a small fee to the DMV. Then and only then WHEN your placard or your plate arrives will you be able to have the right to park in this spot.

If you forgot your placard then you can not legally park. It MUST be displayed.

Now these little cards that I am going to show you are some examples of what I love to have to put on the cars. They remind the people in a not so nice way that being ignorant is not a valid reason to park in these spots.

I don't care if you have a placard or a plate or even both the HASHMARKS ARE NEVER TO BE PARKED IN.

At $3.70 for 25 cards you can't go wrong. Hand them out to EVERYONE who needs it. They are only $0.15 a card and come with a nice little holder,

I am also including photos of cars taken over a 5 month span in my town. Some  I didn't manage to get on camera even belonged to UPS, FEDEX, and Town owned trucks from employees putting up Christmas lights.

(Plate #'s  edited out and more to come tomorrow night I need to upload them to the computer)

This car was right beside (less than a 1/2 block from the police station)

The male driver of the White van saw me taking photos a disabled female/ Came out and confronted me. He has done this SEVERAL times.
This car is parked in the hashmarks blocking the wheelchair unloading and ramp access to the post office about a block from the police station.

The red car belongs to someone who now works for the store in the background. Yes the marker is faded but it is still there. Moments after she moved the lady in the blue car parks in the spot.

The lady and child from this car can be seen walking into the store.

You can somewhat see the marker at her back tire. She is the mother of a now former employee. When I complained to management of the store he made excuses for her. "She just got out the hospital" well she did not have the legal right to park there. Not only that she and her daughter who was an employee at the time verbally attacked a disabled person who the daughter knew was disabled and a wheelchair user. The now former employee then once the photos got posted online attacked me there.
