This is Lennon and I wanted to tell you all about this really nice poop bag holder. It's really great for my mama because it zips and does not screw on. It's soft so if it bumps her it won't hurt.
I love that the bag is textured because it's fun for my mama to rub she she is feeling blue. It has a nice soothing texture.
The bag is black and the zipper is nice and red so it looks really great with my vest.
This bag has a lot of tricks. In addition to being disability friendly, it is roomy and can hold 2 rolls of poop bags. This way we will always have a bag when we need one.
I also like that it will velcro flat against the leash. this helps keep it out the way.
There's a clip on it too. This is great for keys, for hooking this bag to your humans belt loop or even hooking to a ring on a leash if you like it to hang.
The opening that you pull the bags through is rubbery so all of you poop pick up supplies don't unravel.
Now the best part of all.
This company has a lot of heart. For every single bag you buy they donate one to a rescue to help a dog in need. That makes me really really happy because I like helping others.
Now as for why it's important to always have bags on paw.
Let's face it. Dog poop stinks. BAD. No one likes to smell it, and stepping on it is even worse. It gets everywhere, its hard to get it out of your carpets and your humans shoes. It's responsable to get your human to pick it up.
Some people think that since its poop its a natural food for your lawn or a garden. That's not true. While cow poop, horse poop, and even chicken poop is good for the yard dog poop isn't. See we eat meat and they don't (well except chickens) But we have more nitrates and phosphates in out poop than they do. Our poop is very bad for grass. It can cause a type of chemical burn. Plus it can get into the drinking water and that's just yucky.
Dog poop isn't just full of those chemicals. It's full of bacteria that can make people and animals very very sick. It has stuff like salmonella,and E coli. It spreads things that can kill you like Parvo. .This can stay behind for years and make people and animals sick even after the poop is gone.
If your person doesn't pick up poop and you have yucky worms another dog can step in your mess. lick their paws, and then get them. Worms can even kill a dog if they go untreated, and let me tell you the medicine is yucky.
We all know Poop Happens, and it’s important to do your part! Tell your pawrent to pick it up. AND USE HAND SANITIZER after.
