Humans know it is very important to buckle up so they stay safe in the car, but they never think about buckling up their dog. Did you know that if a doggy jumps up into their humans lap it could cause a wreck, or at the very best get them a ticket.
Thats sad because you and your human could get hurt or they would have less money to buy you cookies.
Why take a chance on being safe? I know it's much more fun to ride up front with your person but it's safer in the back seat.
Mama had seat belts for us that bucked in and she hooked to our vests. BUT Lennon is too dang smart. He learned how to unbuckle so she had to get creative.
Mama thought about the tie down system in the back of the car and figured out she could hook a leash to it. and run that through the seat and it could work like a really strong seatbelt.
So she talked to a nice person online and gave them an idea for a Lennon proof seatbelt. And it worked out great.
They made it size adjustable so thats really cool too.
and when we got the package they even included some gifts for us since we are service dogs.
NOW we have a leash, a collar and a seatbelt to match.
Mama said she wants to get the nice person who made it to do a smaller version of the seatbelt one in our colors. Bright pink for me and Red for Lennon. That way she can hook them to her hands free leash system for when we work and they will better match our vest.
Lennons mad about the seatbelt though.. because he cant figure out how to unbuckle us BOL.
Mama and I really love them because she can relax in the car since she's not worried that we might get hurt and I don't have to worry about getting hurt.
