Scoop da poop

We wanted to start this by talking about why you need to pick up when we poop. Trust us if we had thumbs we would do it too.

Everyone knows it’s responsible for your human to pick up dog poop when walking around the neighborhood, and even more so if you are a service dog, because that shows the public that we are a serious team that cares for more than just us.

The # 1 reason for your human to pick up your poop is Disease Control. Did you know that diseases include giardia, E. coli, salmonella, and roundworms  contracted by humans through contact with your poop. And we all know the little humans put their fingers in their mouths. You can catch coronavirus or parvovirus by coming into contact with disease riddled poop. Those can make you super sick, or even kill you.

Reason # 2 to bag the poo is it can get into drinking water. This happens through rain and storm run off. Not only can it cause the diseases mentioned earlier to get into the water but it can also have an negative effect on the environment. Too much
nitrogen in the water depletes the much needed oxygen. This kills under water plants, wildlife and fish.

Reason # 3 Humans hate this one. Dirty Shoes. It really can ruin a day when someone steps in your poop. Not only can this make their shoes dirty but sometimes people even slip in it. When people step in the piles it messes up their shoes it can track into homes and businesses and it is SO hard for them to clean it out of their shoes.

Reason # 4 Yucky smells. As the day gets hotter it tends to bake the poops that really really stinks. This can make a nice place like the park smell really bad and sometimes due to stuff like that towns like mine can ban doggies from the park.

Reason #5 Bugs and parasites. The poop left behind can cause doggies and people too to get tapeworms. Thats by walking along and stepping in the poop of a dog that had the worms, and then cleaning your paws. Or if your person pets you not knowing that you rolled in poop and then touches near their mouth they can get the yucky worms too. Plus flies like to lay their eggs in our poop.

Reason # 6 Bagging that poo cuts down on rats. It's yucky but true they love to much on our poo. Dont leave them snacks behind.

Now that we got that out of the way our paws are free for talking about the cool new tool that our mama got.

The Poo Paw this thing is SO COOL.

It grows from 15 inches long to 42 inches long so your person wont have to bend to pick up the poop.
This is easy to clip onto your persons back pack or a belt loop if they have a keychain clip.
Theres a nifty wrist strap so your human won't have to worry about dropping it. This tool is PERFECT for if your human is in a wheelchair because it is super easy for them to use it to clean up your poops.

The people who make this say that if it breaks (the hoop) with normal use with in one year of buying it they will replace it.

To use it simply have them pass the bag through the hole and open it over the teeth on the claw and wrap around the lip and then clip it on with the little bitey clip. Then use it to scoop the poop. It works AMAZING in the grass and on rocks.

To get rid of the poo simple open the bity clip over a trash can and give a little shake and in it falls.

This is super disability friendly, great for those with back pain, great for dog walkers, and for the elderly.

I can honestly recommend this as a must own product, as it is amazingly disability friendly.
